Gera Höhler cellars
Beneath the old town lies a second Gera: cellars dug into the rock, called Höhler.
Citizens with brewing rights kept their beer cool down here. Some Höhler can be visited on guided tours – the entrance to the museum cellars is on Steinweg, at the corner of Geithes Passage.
