Orangery & Küchengarten
The Küchengarten was laid out in 1729 as a Baroque pleasure garden on a French model. The orangery with its curved semicircle followed in 1729–1732.
Orangeries sheltered delicate plants such as citrus trees through the winter. Today the Gera art collection shows paintings and prints here.
