By us, for Gera

A city becomes beautiful through the people who live in it, not through advertising. With stories, riddles and your photos we show what Gera has to offer – to guests and neighbours.

Hotel

Promenaden Hotel am Theater

The hotel’s name recalls the former name of Theaterstraße. From 1878 to 1949, it was called Promenadenstraße. Before the Eselsbrücke bridge was built, it was a quiet dead-end street where people came for a stroll. The hotel’s name keeps that memory alive.
